Description of Additional Services
Wood handle refinish- Old finish is removed, handle is treated in a vacuum chamber so refinishing oil can penetrate the wood. We prefer Tung oil, but also offer Danish or Linseed oil. ( Two coats & 2-3 days time required)
Treat Wood Handles- Apply one coat of hardening oil to handle.
Plastic Handle Refurbishing- Handles are polished with a radial abrasive disc that removes most scratches and imperfections. Then polished on a buffer with a plastic polish.
Plastic Handle Repair- Repairs can fill missing portions of plastic or rivet replacements.
New scales (handle replacement) is done by quote and cost on average $125-$150
